It is an exciting time for our firm as we announce that Andrew Spitler and Brad Shelts have joined Kurt Brueckner as owners of the Firm.
Andrew Spitler has been practicing law for 14 years. He holds a B.S. in Business, Management Information Systems, Miami University, an M.B.A., The University of Toledo College of Business Administration, Honors, and his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law.
Andrew primarily practices in the area of estate planning. Some of his areas of practice within estate planning are: Lifetime planning; Multi-generational planning; Planning for non-citizens; Special needs planning; Disability planning; Health care planning; Tax planning for taxes such as estate, gift, generation skipping, capital gains, tax basis matters; Qualified plans such as pensions, IRAs, and 401K planning; Asset protection planning; and Charitable planning. Some specific documents Andrew prepares are: Wills, Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Charitable Trusts, Heath Care Powers of Attorney, Financial Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and HIPAA Authorizations.
Andrew also assists clients in Trust Administration, Probate proceedings, and Non-Probate Transfers.
Andrew and his wife, Amanda, reside in Scottsdale with their three dogs.
Brad Shelts has been practicing law for 17 years. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, from Oklahoma State University and his J.D., with highest honors, from University of Tulsa College of Law.
Brad is a litigator in the areas of corporate and complex civil litigation, employment, wrongful death and catastrophic injury, real estate and insurance defense. He represents a wide variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, and other private and public entities.
Brad resides in the Scottsdale area with his wife Carissa, a flight attendant, and their six children.
